Discover My JourneyAs a member of the 11th BCS (Administration) cadre, Dr. Md. Faridul Islam is a retired Secretary of the Government of Bangladesh and a seasoned public administrator with more than three decades of hands-on experience in governance of local government and rural development.
He has held key leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer of multiple Zilla Parishads and Protocol Officer to the Hon’ble Prime Minister. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Public Administration from American Independent University, USA, with research focused on women’s participation in local governance and sustainable development.
He is also an accomplished researcher with contributions in environmental studies and agricultural science, and remains actively engaged in policy development, academic research, and social initiatives.
